**Confidentiality and Participation Coaching Agreement**

This Confidentiality and Participation Coaching Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between the client ("Client") and the coach ("Coach") for the purpose of establishing guidelines to ensure a safe and supportive coaching relationship. By participating in coaching sessions, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below:

**Confidentiality:**

1. **Commitment to Confidentiality:** Coach acknowledges the confidential nature of the information shared by the Client during coaching sessions. Coach is committed to maintaining strict confidentiality of all information discussed, except as required by law or with explicit written consent from the Client.

2. **Limits of Confidentiality:** Coach may discuss certain aspects of the Client's progress or case with other coaches or professionals for the purpose of professional development and quality improvement. However, any shared information will be stripped of personally identifiable details.

3. **Exceptions:** Coach may disclose information in situations involving potential harm to the Client or others, or when required by law, court order, or ethical standards. In such cases, Coach will inform the Client of the intention to disclose information.

**Participation and Commitment:**

4. **Client's Responsibilities:** Client commits to actively participating in coaching sessions, completing any agreed-upon assignments, and being open and honest during discussions. Client acknowledges that coaching results are a collaborative effort.

5. **Coach's Responsibilities:** Coach commits to providing professional coaching services, adhering to ethical standards, and maintaining a safe and supportive coaching environment. Coach is committed to the Client's growth, progress, and well-being.

**Termination and Cancellation:**

6. **Termination of Services:** Either party reserves the right to terminate the coaching relationship at any time for any reason. Coach will provide the Client with a pro-rated refund for any unused sessions in case of termination.

**Billing and Payment:**

7. **Fees and Payment:** Client agrees to pay the agreed-upon coaching fees promptly before each session or according to the payment schedule outlined. Payment for a session confirms the session's time slot.

**Liability:**

8. **No Guarantees:** Coach does not guarantee specific outcomes or results from coaching sessions. Client acknowledges that coaching is not a substitute for professional mental health services or medical treatment.

**Dispute Resolution:**

9. **Mediation:** In the event of a dispute arising from this Agreement, both parties agree to seek resolution through mediation. If mediation fails, any unresolved dispute shall be subject to arbitration in accordance with the rules of the governing jurisdiction.

**Acceptance of Agreement:**

By participating in coaching sessions, both Client and Coach acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this Confidentiality and Participation Coaching Agreement.
